The Plasma Control Technologies division is a global leader in the development and production of high-performance vacuum capacitors, RF modules and RF generators as required in the manufacture of semiconductors, flat screens, solar cells and radio transmitters. At the German PCT site , the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.

Ihre Aufgaben

The position is located either in Aachen (Germany) or Flamatt (Switzerland) and requires proficient knowledge of German.

Core responsibilities of this position:

• Design and implementation (frontend and backend) of the user interface of a family of embedded devices used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

  In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:

• Development of new functionality for the web interfaces of RF-generators and matching networks

• Design and implementation of software in JavaScript and PHP

• Improvement of the usability and design of the web front-end, in collaboration with UX/UI designers

• Definition and implementation of the APIs (REST, websocket) of the embedded device

• Supporting the definition of specifications within the requirement engineering process

• Definition of test specifications and implementation of automated tests

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor or Master in Informatics, Electronics or equivalent knowledge including multiple years of experience

• Very good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP

• Knowledge of C++ is helpful

• Experience with modern web application development and JavaScript frameworks

• Good knowledge in the usage and design of REST APIs

• Knowledge of automated testing of user interfaces is helpful

• Experiences with automated build systems (for example Jenkins)

• Very good spoken and written English

• Open minded to learn new things
