Ihre Aufgaben

We are looking for someone to be a member of the Design Team with responsibilities to provide CAD design services to all engineering disciplines throughout RFA. Design disciplines may include heavy steel construction for launch and testing sites, lightweight sheet metal design for launch vehicle, complex geometry designed for metal 3D printing for propulsion, machined parts, high pressure fluid design and component selection, as well as various mechanical component and mechanism designs.

Your Tasks

• Develop practical design solutions from concept, through detail design to manufacturing drawings

• Conduct design reviews with all stakeholders from peer designers to management

• Create bill of materials (BOM) for input into the procurement process

• Communicate with suppliers on technical matters

• Take ownership of involved designs and assist in proper and timely hardware execution

• May be expected to assist in actual hands-on tasks such as assembly and testing

Ihr Profil

• 2+ Years experience in real life design

• Intermediate to advanced user of Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal)

• Able to perform basic structural hand calculations

• Knowledge of different material types commonly used in the industry

• Hands-on experience with common workshop hand and power tools

• Organize and prioritizes workload to meet deadlines

• Exhibits the ability to review and comprehend a set of project documents and drawing

• Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
