The Distributor Market Manager (DMM) is responsible for growing TE Sales and Market Share through our Distribution Channel Partners in Germany. This is accomplished through smart utilization and prioritization of TE Channel, TE Business Unit, and distributor resources.,

Participation in the sale of the company's products or services on-site through our network of sales branches

Communication with distributors and potential customers, providing technical and administrative product details, and conducting demonstrations if necessary

Achieving the set POS targets at regional, national, territorial, or branch levels

Acting as the primary point of contact for all TE products, ensuring a coherent and seamless interaction with distributors

Expanding/increasing TE Connectivity's market share

Monitoring the implementation of corporate plans for distributors at the branch level:

Setting priorities based on market significance.

Aligning local business plans and goals/priorities with the sales managers and general managers of distributors.

Conducting thorough market business reviews and taking on accountability
-
Performing competitive analysis:

Marketing of TAM/DTAMs
-
Competitors' go-to-market strategies and resources
-
Regularly reviewing the sales pipeline through consistent and systematic follow-up on proposals with distributors and TE sales engineers

Managing sales-related business processes, including cooperative advertising (Coop) programs, POS reporting/matching
-
Managing the retention and growth of TAM-to-DTAM accounts
-
Coaching and developing distributor business resources to utilize self-service tools
-
Coordinating training plans for the full TE product range, including TELC and in-person sessions

Acting as the local point of contact for all TE Business Unit (BU) sales teams to ensure consistent execution of TE plans and initiatives

Gaining insights into the distributor's strategic plan to better align with key TE initiatives
Ihr Profil

Bachelor's degree in either business or engineering

7+ years of experience in sales management.

Extensive familiarity with the electronics components and systems industry

Exceptional interpersonal skills and effective communication skills, with the capacity to deliver formal presentations to senior management teams

Essential proficiency in negotiation, extending to interactions with executives at all tiers of an organization.

Self-motivated individual capable of assessing market requirements and achieving notable outcomes throughout the sales processes

Inherent ability to cultivate robust professional relationships and foster collaboration across multiple functions, including Business Unit Management, Product Management, and Marketing.
