Coordination of ECCHR's part in the project with other eight non-governmental organisations of the consortium, in particular regarding internal communication and external requests as well as communication with the consortium's management

Supporting the programme and finance team in the preparation of reports, financial reports and documentation to the consortium management and the European Commission

Conceptualisation, organisation and implementation of two global workshops on Universal Jurisdiction topics with NGOs from all regions of the world in 2025 in Berlin and 2027 in the MENA region

Conceptualisation and creation of training material on universal jurisdiction for NGOs and the ECCHR website

Development and implementation of a mentoring programme for NGOs
Ihr Profil
We are looking for a person (f/m/d) with at least two years of relevant professional experience to work in the field of "International Crimes and Legal Accountability". As part of the fouryear project "Global Initiative Against Impunity For International Crimes and Serious Human Rights Violations: Making Justice Work", funded by the European Commission, the position of a project coordinator is to be filled. In-depth knowledge and critical perspectives on international criminal justice as well as international study or work experience are required.,

Legal or comparable university education, for example in social science subjects, in each case with knowledge of legal human rights work

At least 2 years of professional experience in relevant areas, in particular knowledge of the practical application of international criminal law

Experience in project work, preferably in the context of a project funded by the European Union

Experience in the organisation of workshops and international conferences as well as in trainings

In-depth knowledge of discussions and discourses in the field of international criminal offences and legal responsibility, in particular critical human rights work and legal mechanisms at national and international level

Very good knowledge of the English language is a prerequisite

Knowledge of German, French and Arabic is an advantage

Knowledge of the Middle East is an advantage

Experience in working with organisations and affected persons from different cultures and backgrounds
