Within the last five years, FACTUREE has managed to establish a completely new form of parts procurement: Until now, it has been incredibly challenging for engineers to find the right manufacturers for their technical components. Due to strong price fluctuations, high quality differences and slow response times, conventional procurement of custom parts was very non-transparent, time-consuming and often frustrating.

With the help of FACTUREE, companies and research institutes can now easily procure their individual components online and on demand. Our team combines their technical know-how with the intelligence of our self-developed software system. Your tasks with us:

• Management, organization and optimization of all processes in the warehouse

• Responsibility for a team of 7 employees

• Support of our growth by building up new warehouse space

• Negotiation management and intensification of cooperations with existing and new shipping service providers

• Compliance with all customs relevant conditions in logistics

• Controlling and reporting to the management,

• Induction and continuous feedback from our current Head of Logistics, who will move to the technical purchasing department

  Technical Purchaser (m/f/d)

  Your tasks with us:

• Cooperate with our account managers in processing customer inquiries

• Provide technical evaluation of the requested parts and components

• Calculation of purchase prices and selection of suitable suppliers for each project

• Management of production orders

• Provide clarification to clients regarding technical queries in the ongoing manufacturing process

• Serve as mediator and problem solver in case of complaints

• Establish long-term relationships with our suppliers

• Important to know: in this position, you will not work directly with machines or in any manufacturing process,

• Inspecting incoming shipments from our suppliers

Ihr Profil

• More than five years of professional experience in a leading function of a warehouse

• Authentic, appreciative and at the same time task-oriented leadership style

• Expertise in establishing smooth delivery processes and managing logistics service providers

• High competence in handling customs issues

• Enthusiasm for the further development of your department in order to realize speed, cost effectiveness and delivery reliability

• Strong communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders

• Hands-on mentality and high level of customer focus

• Affinity for the use and improvement of process-related software

• Proficient in German and English - written and spoken

• Interest in manufacturing processes and technology as well as materials science,

• Education in engineering, industrial engineering, product design, technical purchasing or mechanical engineering

• University degree is desirable but not a must

• Affinity for technical topics

• Knowledge of manufacturing methods, material science and custom parts is a plus

• First practical experience in supplier management is beneficial

• Routine use of software to increase own productivity

• Pronounced communication and decision-making skills

• High degree of service orientation, inquisitiveness and ability to learn

• Strong organizational skills, enjoys multitasking and has an eye for detail
