QA Tester

Ihre Aufgaben

Join our QA team and take ownership of the quality and stability for our games' newest features with a strong focus on the technical aspects of the game and its underlying systems.

You will work in direct collaboration with our game developers, as well as with our product managers, game designers and other people in our game teams.

Broaden your game development knowledge to master finding bugs, figuring out their details, analysing their root causes and contributing to their solutions.

Responsibilities

• Test smaller features independently, and larger ones, as well as SDK integrations with the assistance of your team

• Assist in release testing, when required

• Investigate the root cause of bugs and contribute to possible solutions by working closely with developers and our community managers

• Find and report bugs to developers and product managers, owning prioritization and regression testing

• Be in charge of creating test plans/test maps and tickets, and owning them until they are completed

• Consult design documents and technical documentation, create and update them when necessary

Ihr Profil

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and curiosity who loves to dig deep and understand the inner workings of games.,

• Basic knowledge of agile software development methodology

• Comprehension of all teams involved in software development and publishing and their responsibilities

• Good knowledge and enthusiasm for mobile technology

• Prior experience in software testing or a degree in software development or gaming related field

• Knowledge of Google Drive/Microsoft Office products

• Being a creative thinker who can quickly and thoroughly identify and test for 'edge cases' outside of expected functionality

• Being a strong team player and communicator who excels when working closely together with others, both receiving and providing help

• Growth mindset, curiosity to learn, and close attention to the details

Desired Skills

• Prior experience in game testing

• Prior Game Design experience

• Experience with Atlassian tools

• Prior experience in adjacent fields (Technical Customer Service, Project Management, …)

• Basic programming skills are a plus
