Ihre Aufgaben


We are seeking a part-time (20hrs/week) gallery liaison to join the Galleries Team in our Berlin office (with flexible remote work). This position is a 14-month parental leave coverage, starting mid November 2023. Ideally, the working hours are Mondays-Fridays for 4 hours each. As a gallery liaison, you will maintain and develop client relationships by managing the member gallery sites hosted on our network. Communicating with clients daily, you will play a crucial role in keeping them engaged and ensuring their success on our platform.

You will be reporting directly to the Director of the Gallery Network, working together as Artnet leads the way in the growing art industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain 50-55 gallery member sites, mainly from Asia.

  • Form relationships with clients to improve their Artnet experience and help grow their business online.

  • Provide clients with an exceptional customer experience through friendly and effective product and technical support.

  • Track all significant client activities on a daily basis in order to retain existing clients and refer opportunities for new and existing clients.

  • Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, and Ad-Ops teams to coordinate advertising campaigns for gallery members.

  • Report any site issues or bugs to the Research and Development Team.

  • Edit Artnet's artist database by adding or updating artist information.

  • For optimal online image quality, edit artwork images to meet clients' specifications when necessary.

  • Help improve our product and services by contributing ideas regularly.

  • Attend client and art world events to foster relationships within the arts community.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.



Ihr Profil


Bachelor's degree or higher in art history, fine arts, or arts administration.

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the art world.

  • Proficient knowledge of PC platform, Microsoft Office, Social Media (incl. RED) and the WeChat messaging app.

  • Basic comprehension of HTML and image editing.

  • Professional and pleasant phone and email etiquette.

  • Excellent command of the English and German language.

  • Foreign language skills a plus, Mandarin preferred.

  • Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.

  • Ability to identify potential risks and opportunities and escalate them in a timely manner.

  • Ability to multi-task and stay calm, positive, and productive under pressure.

  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and take on new responsibilities as needed.
