Athlete and Brand Partnerships Manager DACH

Over this 25+ year journey, we've created an award-winning organization (UN, EU, FIFA, UEFA and global social entrepreneurship networks) and a significant blueprint in the North American market (USWNT players, NWSL clubs, top brands the likes of Fox Sports, Better Help…).

Ihre Aufgaben

As our Athlete and Brand Partnerships Manager for the DACH region, you will be responsible for acquiring new and managing existing partnerships with athletes, coaches & clubs and corporate sponsors. In this role, it is your goal to grow our membership numbers while keeping in mind quality in the sports for good sector over quantity.

You will work closely with our Fundraising and Impact teams and take full ownership of growing and maintaining an engaged community of elite athletes and brand partners resulting in large scale financial and non-financial (reach, influence and network) support of Common Goal's social impact programs in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and around the globe.

Your Responsibilities

• Represent Common Goal in interactions with athletes, coaches and clubs and communicate our shared mission and values with clarity and sincerity

• Sustain and grow new Common Goal member and partner relationships across German-speaking markets

• Develop and present bespoke propositions that align with the intrinsic interests and impact goals of athletes and partners

• Organise and manage shared activations with athletes, coaches, clubs and partners

• Establish a strong knowledge of the work of and relationships with NGO partners who run impact programs in DACH markets,

Ihr Profil

• You have a minimum of 1-year professional experience in athlete, sales, partnerships and/or sponsorship management, ideally in the sports/football industry

• You have a successful track record of achieving ambitious financial and community growth targets

• You are a natural networker and great communicator, skilled at building relationships and showing empathy

• You approach your work with a design thinking mindset

• You are great at presenting and storytelling

• You possess strong organisational skills and can prioritise and multitask

• You are fluent in German and English
