Ihre Aufgaben


As a successful, Series A-funded company, we are now looking for a Finance & Controlling Manager to support our journey! You will take ownership of Sharpist's financial operations, including accounting, controlling and financial analysis. As the key point of contact for all accountancy, bookkeeping, and tax topics, you will ensure our financial health by implementing timely, accurate, and optimized accounting processes. This includes diligent financial reporting (BWA, P&L), forecasting, and recurring revenue reporting (FP&A), as well as managing both incoming and outgoing invoices.

In this role, you will be someone who can maintain calm under pressure, has a strong work ethic, and is eager to match the pace and expectations of the CEO and whole team. You will also be pragmatic in interpreting and applying legal requirements.,

  • Ensure the smooth operation of accounting processes, from basic bookkeeping over tax matters to managing external audits

  • Manage invoice handling (incoming & outgoing) and cash flow forecasting to ensure ongoing liquidity

  • Take ownership of all reporting and controlling activities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for the COO & CEO on financial matters

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Support our CEO in investor relations, from preparing slides to conducting complex financial calculations



Ihr Profil


  • You are relentlessly diligent, detail-oriented, and proactive in bringing new ideas to build a stable financial organization

  • You are hands-on: You build (and love!) your own spreadsheets, don't shy away from booking invoices yourself and always go for a pragmatic approach

  • You remain calm in high-pressure situations, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Stakeholder management is your strength, and you are confidently saying "no" when needed

  • You are pragmatic in interpreting legal requirements and finding solutions that work for the business

  • You have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

    Primary Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting, ideally in an international or startup environment

  • Strong knowledge of German tax system & financial statement preparation according to HGB

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and DATEV

  • Fluent German and good English skills (written and spoken),

  • Completed studies in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field or comparable qualification

  • Experience with CRMs (HubSpot) and invoice systems

  • Leadership experience is a plus
