We are seeking an experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our global marketing team and drive impactful programs that build brand awareness, educate the market, and advance prospects through the funnel. In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders to create engaging content that enhances Applause?s reputation as a market leader, innovator, and best place to work. You will support demand generation programs and develop plans for communicating with customers and prospects across different channels to drive engagement and accelerate business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Craft high-quality, effective content in English and German, including customer stories, emails, webinars, newsletters, and web copy to support campaigns and nurture leads.
Support brand-building initiatives through consistent and impactful messaging that aligns with the needs of our target industries and personas.
Identify and interview key customers who can promote Applause through case studies, speaking opportunities, etc.
Contribute to social media strategy and execution across corporate and executive accounts.
Demand Generation: Collaborate with global marketing and sales teams to create campaigns that align with company objectives and audience needs.
Create educational content for live and online events with customers and prospects.
Support the execution of digital campaigns, making data-driven optimizations to improve effectiveness.
Engage with external agencies, and Applause content and design teams to support campaign delivery.
What you?ll need to succeed:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a B2B SaaS or services marketing role, ideally targeting enterprise-level organizations.
Proven experience communicating to technical personas, such as engineering, QA, product or software development teams.
Bachelor's degree required - marketing/communications degree preferred
Skills: Exceptional writing skills in English and solid proficiency in German - with experience translating complex and technical concepts into compelling stories that resonate with the target personas.
Demonstrated ability to create persuasive, audience-focused content that drives engagement and conversions.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required. You will interview senior-level executives and customers; active listening, critical thinking, and diplomacy are necessary.
Expertise in crafting and executing multichannel demand generation campaigns that deliver measurable results
