(senior) software engineer with a focus on frontend and drive the development of our services and infrastructures for WELT

• you are part of a cross-functional development team that is always looking for the best technical solutions

• you are proficient in modern technologies like Typescript, Node, React, SCSS and Jest

• collaborating with other engineers, you are responsible for evaluating UX/UI concepts, provide technical feedback and guidance and implement solutions according to specifications

• you are proficient in explaining complex concepts to stakeholders or partners without a technical background

• you have strong communication skills

• you demand and promote technical excellence while keeping the needs of stakeholders in mind

• you work closely with the product management to build the best possible product

  You are a

  passionate and talented developer with experience in development for the web

• you have extensive experience building frontend solutions with React and Typescript

• you gained reasonable experience using Node.js

• you are familiar with REST APIs

• you are comfortable building frontend-components with semantic HTML, SCSS and accessibility in mind

• you are not afraid to take end-to-end responsibility in your team and you can identify with the "you build it - you run it" mentality

• ideally you already have experience with GitHub Actions and AWS

• you are not afraid to give open and appreciative feedback in order to maintain or increase the quality of your team

• you can easily communicate with us in English

• you have experience in working in an agile environment
