Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Your tasks will be varied and diverse, with a focus on the following points:
- Independent research and development work on modeling and simulation of plasma etching processes
- Implementation of plasma processing models on multiple scales, from global plasma models to particle-based local interaction models
- Independent research on novel simulation approaches related to plasma etching and general integration technologies
- Project-related documentation and reporting, preparation of scientific publications and participation in international conferences
- Cooperation with internal and external partners and customers
- Contribution to the acquisition of future projects What you bring to the table
- You have a university degree (Master's / Diploma) in physics, material science, electrical engineering or a comparable course of study.
- You have solid knowledge and experience in numerical simulation.
- You also have experiences in scientific computing, especially in using python on HPC-systems.
- Background in semiconductor or nanotechnology is desirable.
- Experiences in modeling of semiconductor or nanotechnology processes, especially in plasma-processing are of advantage.
- You are an efficient team player with a focused and independent working style.
- You act in a goal-oriented and responsible manner and are strong in communication and assertiveness.
- Good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile. What you can expect

The position is initially limited to 2 years, we aim to continue the employment contract. The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis.
