Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The Competence Center 3D Printing Technology researches and develops software solutions in the field of graphical 3D printing and multi-material 3D printing.

A core element of our work is the 3D printer driver Cuttlefish® which prepares data for 3D printing to achieve the optimal color reproduction. In addition, we develop data-driven design software to establish a digital process with additive manufacturing in the field of prosthetics.

What you will do

Depending on your knowledge and skills, you will support our department in day-to-day software development tasks and beyond. This can be testing releases, creating automated tests, creating documentation, automating tasks or implementing new features and bug fixes for the software we develop. What you bring to the table

• Enrollment as a student at a university or college in the field of computer science or a related natural science
• Experience in programming with C++ or Python
• Good written and spoken English skills
• A conscientious and structured way of working

You also have knowledge of or interest in the software stack we use: git, gitlab, CMake, Docker, Flask or node.js What you can expect

• Insights into research and high technology in the field of color 3D printing

• Flexible working hours
• The option to write a Bachelor's or Master's thesis in our department

The weekly working time is 16-20 hours. The position is initially limited to three months, an extension is intended.
