Business Development Representative - Ireland

About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. This is a fully remote-based role (must be based in Ireland). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifying potential leads, nurturing relationships, providing event management support and setting appointments for our sales executives. Key Responsibilities

Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns and event follow-up.

  • Research and target key decision-makers within potential client organizations.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure alignment with Slimstock's solutions.
  • Engage with prospects professionally and persuasively, effectively communicating Slimstock's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging and enhance outreach strategies.
  • Schedule high-quality appointments for sales executives with qualified leads.
  • Utilize the CRM system to track lead interactions, update information, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Document all communications and activities with prospects for future reference.
  • This role will require moderate travel.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development or a similar role, preferably in the B2B software industry.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes and challenges is a plus.
  • Degree Qualified or relevant business experience
  • Motivated by a career in sales.
  • Social selling - understanding how to make the most of modern selling techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Persistent, resilient, and results oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (HubSpot and 6sense a bonus) and sales engagement tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job location

This is a fully remote role but must be based in Ireland
