We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Image Analyst with experience in object extraction from satellite and aerial imagery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in remote sensing, image processing, and geospatial analysis. This role is essential for supporting our efforts to deliver high-quality geospatial data and analysis to our clients. Tätigkeit:

• Perform detailed analysis of satellite and aerial images to identify and extract objects of interest.

• Utilize advanced image processing techniques and software tools to enhance imagery and improve object detection accuracy

• Organize and manage large datasets of satellite and aerial imagery

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of extracted data for integration into geospatial databases

• Conduct quality checks on extracted data to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with team members to refine and improve extraction methodologies

• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations of extracted data for client delivery. Document processes and methodologies to support reproducibility and future analysis

• Work closely with other geospatial analysts, data scientists, and project managers to support project goals

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in image analysis and object extraction according to DFDD standard from satellite and aerial imagery

• Proficiency in remote sensing software (e.g., ENVI, ERDAS Imagine)

• Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS)

• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for image processing and analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data extraction and analysis.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Very good command (at least B2) of further languages (e.g. Spanish, French) are an advantage
