Ihre Aufgaben

Within TANATEX Chemicals B.V., the Purchasing Department is responsible for the planned availability of specified raw materials, resources and services at optimum cost price, thereby contributing to the timely delivery of solutions to our customers. Furthermore, the department plays a crucial role in obtaining information from our suppliers to meet our sustainability objectives. This requires knowledge and competence of a strategic approach to the supply market and active translation of changes in the raw material market to our business positions.

A few of your work-activities and responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies, aligning with global and regional objectives while addressing organizational needs.

• Contract Management: Negotiate, manage, and update contracts, including toll manufacturing agreements, to meet operational requirements.

• Supplier Management: Manage supplier portfolios, negotiate terms, ensure sustainability, and evaluate performance to secure competitive advantages.

• Internal Customer Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address supplier performance issues and align procurement policies with organizational goals.

• Leadership and Performance: Lead team to execute strategic plans, set performance objectives, and ensure goal achievement.

• Sustainability and Compliance: Drive supplier sustainability initiatives and ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Budgeting and Sourcing: Develop purchasing budgets and analyse market data to inform cost-effective sourcing decisions.

Ihr Profil

• Master's degree in business administration or economics.

• Over 5 years of experience in procurement and contract negotiations within Chemical Industry

• Successfully completed NEVI 2 (or similar) training

• Hands-on mentality, able to switch between execution and strategic helicopter-view

• Independent, good interpersonal savviness

• Good communicative skills and capable of communication with people with various fields of expertise and on all levels.

• Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and preferably Dutch and German
