The Payroll Clerk supports the end-to-end payroll processing centrally managed hotels and, in exceptional cases, other legal entities as required. This includes system testing, verification of payroll applications, and ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for over 3000 employees. The Payroll Shared Services Center is the main contact for queries related to payroll relevant processes from data maintenance to interfaces and reporting & analysis. The role involves maintaining high standards of administrative and non-administrative support and fostering positive relationships with associates and local authorities., Payroll Processing:

Timely and accurate processing of payrolls, including system testing and monthly reconciliations.

Handling documentation, reports, and data preparation for audits and external consultants.

Archiving payroll-related documentation as required.
Employee Support for HR and Finance Teams:

Provide guidance and support on payroll-related queries while maintaining confidentiality.

Assist with training and documentation of payroll processes.
Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure compliance with German social insurance and payroll tax regulations.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Administrative Duties:

Compile data related to compensation and benefits.

Create documents using MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Update relevant databases and respond to internal/external inquiries.
Ihr Profil

Experience in payroll processing or preparation in Germany required.

HR and/or Finance experience preferred.
Skills:

Expertise in German payroll processes, including social insurance and tax regulations.

Experience with SAP Payroll is a plus.

Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.

Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Education:

Certification in a German payroll-relevant field.

Completed vocational training in clerical or administrative disciplines, preferably in German social insurance or income tax.

Up-to-date knowledge of German payroll tax and social insurance guidelines.
