We seek a talented and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our HR Team in Feldkirchen.
This is a business critical, HR role supporting our operations in Germany, comprising c190 people. The majority of our employees in Germany are Technical Field Sales engineers, Sales Account Managers and R&D engineers. This hands-on role is supporting both managers and employees, and representing Cadence Design Systems’ HR function. In addition there is an opportunity to work with various HR people in Europe and with managers in the company, in Germany as well as abroad.
This is a job-sharing part-time role: 8 hours per week, with the working day on Wednesdays.
**Responsibilities:**
- Shared responsibility for the HR activity in Cadence in Germany - total of ~190 employees
- Part of a local team of 2 other HR professionals responsible for all HR activities, including recruitment, training, systems, benefit management and employee relations
- Work closely with all managers to provide information and support for HR matters, including employee matters, performance, compensation, retention, talent development, career planning, and more
- Document and develop local policies as needed. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently
- Work closely with the global compensation team to analyze local trends in compensation and benefits
- Work closely with the finance team to support various pay-related processes, such as salary and benefits
- Manage employee relations, including labor law compliance
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with local law and regulations
**Requirements:**
- At least 10 years of proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive in a global high-tech company in Germany
- A relevant academic degree or certificate. You will have an affinity for technology and are a confident user of technology.
- You will have well developed analytical and numerical skills, are client-oriented and can work in a complex international environment.
- You have a good understanding of the local legal framework both regarding employment legislation as well as regarding social security rules.
- You will have experience in recruiting technical employees. Your English will have to be excellent and you must be well-organised and have a good attention for details.
- A people-oriented and results-driven person with the competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Strong consulting and coaching skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
- Be a team player
