Head of Marketing - Europe
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced strategic leader with proven experience and knowledge of marketing within the HVAC industry. This role will be responsible for Trade Marketing, Customer Experience and as well Digital Marketing strategy execution, to strengthen the company's market position in EMEA and achieve desired business goals.
What will you be doing?
- Defines and demonstrates accountability for the overall marketing strategy to accelerate the BU EMEA strategy.
- Prioritizes strategic initiatives and processes to enable effective and efficient operation of marketing and respective functions.
- Sets functional performance objectives that are aligned with the overall BU strategy to drive high performance. Evaluates and measures performance consistent with the performance standards set by the organization.
- Deliver demand generating activities and manage the toolbox of digital, channel, product and customer marketing
- Monitors performance of marketing activities through fact-based dashboards.
- Responsible for the oversight of functional and organizational A&P budget to ensure appropriate resource allocation and prioritization of investments.
- Models the GF BFS values and behaviors to engage diverse audiences and build high performing teams.
- Execute pricing activities in close alignment with the commercial teams
- Implement regional sustainability initiatives, general communication, and brand work
What will you need?
- Qualification: MBA in Marketing or Business Administration preferred or combination of bachelor's degree plus 15+ years of progressively complex experience in Marketing which includes experience around leading and executing a customer experience strategy.
- Prior experience in the building industry, preferably within the plumbing/indoor climate sector, with a heavy focus on product marketing.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and inspiring a strong, collaborative team.
- A flexible, dynamic leader with a bias to act and manage ambiguity proactively. Demonstrated leadership skills that engage and inspire large, diverse teams during times of change and within matrix organizations.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, negotiating and interpersonal skills. Sound understanding of business law, legal contracts, and financial impact related to inventory, cash flow, and working capital.
- Superb ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to think and product results at a strategic level.
- ESSENTIAL: fluent in English both verbal & written.
