Head of Project Business - Europe

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced strategic leader with proven experience and knowledge of project business within the HVAC industry. This role will be responsible for overseeing and driving the success of our project business in Europe, formulate and execute business strategies, foster strong client relationships, and ensure the successful delivery of project business targets in a complex market.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the project business, aligning with the overall goals and vision of the company. Plus identifying new opportunities for expansion.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of projects, engaging in negotiations and strategic partnerships.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and business partners. Act as the primary point of contact for major projects, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with project teams in the other markets, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment across the organization.
  • Manage project team resources (commercial sales representatives, engineers and other specialists), define steering targets and monitor execution along defined metrics, e.g. project related sales funnel, hit rates, activity measures and development of loyal customer base.
  • Stay informed about construction industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing project team. Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to ensure the professional growth and success of team members.

What will you need?

  • Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience within the building services industry, in addition HVAC industry experience would advantageous.
  • Essential: Previous experience in a strategic management/growth orientated/project sales development role.
  • An affinity towards number i.e. excellent analytical skills, business economics and ability to find pragmatic solutions.
  • Strong Leadership skills i.e. build, motivate and develop a team
  • Proven experience in managing key stakeholders and building relationships.
  • Entrepreneurship: ability to work independently, be pro-active, self-refection and an assertive team player.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills (i.e. conducting meetings, presentations, negotiating, etc.).
  • Good understanding of business law, legal contracts, and financial impact related to inventory, cash flow, and working capital.
  • ESSENTIAL: fluent in English both verbal & written.

This is a fully remote role - International and European Travel is ESSENTIAL
