Your area of work
MiFID II & MiFIR substantially shaped regulatory reporting of Deutsche Börse in recent years. To fulfil our target to continuously improve these regulatory services both for our customers as well as our regulators, Deutsche Börse is looking for a working student that will assist in the design and implementation of these initiatives for the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, The European Energy Exchange (EEX) as well as Eurex, the German derivatives exchange. You will be working in a dynamic team which consists of both young and seasoned professionals.
As a working student (f/m/d) you will be part of the interface between the business and the IT department and will assist in the transformation of business requirements into functional/technical specifications which serve as input for software implementation as well as quality assurance.

Your responsibilities:
- You will support the MiFID II technical requirement to maintain and store records of orders and trades advertised though our trading system
- In addition to working with business and functional specifications, your area of responsibility will include familiarisation with the Deutsche Börse IT landscape
- Furthermore, you will support the team by conducting technical analysis of the trading system and the connecting database infrastructure
- In addition to these exciting tasks, you will be exposed to a range of financial instruments, gain insights into the trade lifecycle and have the opportunity to learn about various trading strategies
- You will actively participate in project meetings
- Other areas of assistance in respect of MiFID II as required
Your profile:
- You are enrolled as a regular student of economics, computer science, industrial engineering, business law or a similar course of study at a state-recognized university for the entire duration of your employment and are about to complete your studies
- You possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Independent work within the framework of a dynamic team is expected. In addition, due to your very good analytical skills and your good comprehension, you can quickly grasp complex issues in order to develop solutions to problems
- You have good knowledge MS Office. SQL skills are advantageous
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.German language skills are a benefit
