Your tasks:
- Design and implement software for automotive systems and applications, including vehicle control systems, powertrain systems, and driver assistance systems
- Write and maintain code in C/C++ and other programming languages as needed
- Perform unit and integration testing on software components
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and system engineers, to ensure successful integration of software into automotive systems
- Contribute to the development of software development processes and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in automotive software technology
Your profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry
- Proficiency in C/C++ and other programming languages
- Good knowledge of automotive development processes according ASPICE and ISO 26262
- Experience with real-time operating systems and microcontrollers
- Experience with AUTOSAR (AUTomotive Open System ARchitecture); automotive protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet; software development tools such as version control systems (e.g. Git), bug tracking systems, and IDEs (e.g. Eclipse)
- English fluent, German is a plus
