Persian-Farsi Language Instructor

Ihre Aufgaben

• Develop Learning materials that are derived from current and authentic sources and from all media (printed, audio, visual, electronic, etc.).

• Conduct daily lessons, minimally six, 50-minute periods per day.

• Assign homework on a daily basis that is tailored to the needs of each student.

• Provide feedback on completed homework assignments, identifying problem areas, and conducting immediate remediation.

• Provide suitable out-of-class activities (such as on-site lectures at the Marshall Center and/or cultural events) for classes if appropriate.

Ihr Profil

• Be fluent in the Persian-Farsi languages, as spoken in Iran.

• have a working knowledge of English sufficient for conducting course development and research in the English language.

• Bachelor's degree or higher (MA or PhD is highly desired) in: Teaching Persian-Farsi as a Foreign Language.

• have five years or more of significant, recent, and relevant experience in teaching Persian-Farsi to foreign, adult learners that work in US Department of Defense.
