As part of succession planning, we are looking for a Sr. Engineer Electrical. The position is part of our Technical department, you report directly to the Senior Manager Asset Engineering
How You Can Be the Impact

Person qualified to carry out testing in the area of explosion protection in collaboration with external testing organizations.

Assumption of the rights/duties as VEFK according to the order letter.

Control of compliance and implementation of legal regulations and internal standards in the area of electrical energy supply, systems and operating resources.

Develop and introduce testing and maintenance concepts for electrical equipment.

Development of development projects and investment projects.

Participation in troubleshooting and advising the operator in the event of complex malfunctions.

Creation of standards for electrical equipment.

Regular inspections of the operating sites with information to the responsible operators about any defects found.

Participation in committees on energy technology and sustainability.

Participation in the preparation of risk assessments in the event of a malfunction and in deriving test requirements.

Regular exchange with colleagues from other locations and participation in international networks.

Creation and maintenance of procedural instructions regarding electrical systems.

Reporting key figures to optimize processes.

Interface to manufacturers, partner companies and energy suppliers.

Participation in plant safety and plant change committees.

You are an electrical engineer or technician and have at least 5 years of professional experience. You already have in-depth knowledge of functional safety in the process industry. If these criteria apply to you, we look forward to receiving your application.
