Program Director

Fast-growing data and analytics company, WINGX, is seeking a Program Director to consolidate, coordinate and lead its technology, operational and product workstreams. The position is based in Hamburg, Germany. WINGX is a boutique SaaS company which provides market intelligence to the global aviation sector through its proprietary cloud-hosted dashboards. We provide interactive cloud-hosted dashboards which give our customers invaluable insights into flight activity, operational metrics and performance insights. WINGX has recently been acquired by JETNET, a world-leading market research firm based in the US, which specialises in recording and monitoring information and data relating to the global aircraft fleet, including transactions, pricing, life-cycle management and deployment. JETNET is a private equity backed group which has achieved rapid growth through organic expansion and acquisitions.

Objectives of this role:

• Provide discipline, direction and objectives to the program initiatives that adhere to our organizational objectives.

• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement.

• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.

• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.

• Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity.

  Responsibilities:

• Work closely with managing directors, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to develop the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.

• Manage program and project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.

• Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors.

• Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.

• Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department.

• Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for managers and stakeholders.

• The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, the program manager should be motivated by a desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.,

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field

• Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role, preferably in program management, preferably in top tier company.

• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, budget management, task facilitation, and organization.

• Working knowledge of data platforms, tools and software, especially any visualisation software (EG Tableau).

• Good working knowledge of project disciplines, tools and software such as Scrum, Agile, Kanban, Jira, Sales Force.

• Demonstrably very strong skills in proposal writing, project reporting, budget management and business plan presentations

  Other points:

• Fluent communication skills in English required.

• German language skills beneficial but not required.

• On-site presence with the team in WINGX office in Hamburg is essential.
