Our goal at Data & Analytics is to empower the whole organization to make smart decisions based on data. In this role you will work hand in hand with the Sales team to understand the drivers behind business performance (of our Fielmann-subsidiaries) and inform the decisions to steer the business.

Partner with the Sales team to understand their needs for data and analytics and design solutions addressing those needs.

Design and implement KPIs and metrics to measure business performance of sales.

Build and maintain reports and dashboards ensuring transparency on business performance in the sales area.

Ensure data quality by setting up monitoring, performing regular data quality checks and troubleshooting data discrepancies.

Analyze and interpret data to provide digestible and actionable insights to inform decisions in the sales team.

Collaborate with the Data Platform team to shape the central Data Platform according to the needs of sales analytics.

Provide training and support to sales organization on data tools and techniques to enhance their data literacy.

University Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Economics or similar
-
At least 3 years of experience with data analytics
-
Understanding of retail industry (brick & mortar as well as online/omnichannel)
-
Strong communication skills,
-
fluent English-speaking-skills; German is a plus
-
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
-
Experience with designing and implementing KPIs and metrics in a retail context
-
Solid knowledge of SQL. Experience with Databricks or dbt is a plus
-
Experience with building dashboards in Power BI or other BI & Visualisation tool
-
Experience with Python for data analysis is a plus
-
Highly structured way of thinking and attention to details
-
Ability to articulate complex data and analytics content to non-technical audience
-
Inherent curiosity to understand the processes and the underlying reasons behind them, seeking to uncover insights and asking probing questions

Ability to work autonomously, managing priorities and ensuring timely delivery on commitments
