TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER

Ihre Aufgaben

The main objective of this position is to lead the technical-commercial development of the Animal Nutrition division, providing technical expertise and strategic support to the commercial team and network. You will be responsible for translating technical product capabilities into effective commercial solutions, driving profitable and sustainable business growth.

• Strategic support to key accounts: Provide technical support to strategic customers, strengthening relationships and ensuring products meet their specific needs.

• Technical-commercial strategy design: Identify market opportunities and propose strategies that connect the technical capabilities of products with commercial objectives.

• Technical representation at events: Participate in trade fairs, conferences and key events, ensuring effective communication of the technical aspects of the products.

• Collaboration with cross-functional teams: Work in coordination with marketing, R&D, finance and production to ensure that products meet market expectations and technical standards.

• Technical market assessment: Analyse market trends, technological developments and competitor activities to improve product positioning.

• Forecast and technical budget management: Contribute to the design and monitoring of sales budgets from a technical/commercial approach.

• Regulatory compliance: Ensure that products and operations comply with current regulations on quality, safety and sustainability in the target markets.

• Willingness to travel: Participate in technical and commercial activities, with availability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Ihr Profil

• Technical-commercial experience: 2-5 years in technical-commercial roles in Animal Nutrition and pet food.

• In-depth knowledge of the animal nutrition and pet food market.

• Degree in Veterinary Science, Biology, Life Sciences or related disciplines.

• A technical master's degree or PhD in animal nutrition is highly desirable.

• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is essential. Other languages would be an asset.
