Responsibilities include
- Organizing and conducting training about data management tools used in the project.
- Collecting user requirements and providing service to experimentalists, modelers, and clinicians.
- Providing support curating data.
- Defining and refining the data model(s) of the projects, in close contact with users and developers in the consortium.
- Close collaboration with the program directorate, the coordinators of the three research consortia, and the data management team at HITS. What qualifies you for this job
- A degree in Biology, Bioinformatics, Medicine, Medical Informatics, or in a related field.
- Previous experience in data management.
- Knowledge in wet lab experiments, clinics, or modeling and willingness to learn more about the other specialties to help make tools for all people in the project.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured way.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management, flexibility, and an interest in science complete your profile.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and basic German is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel within Germany.
