- You model the electrical components of hydraulic systems and perform dynamic simulations of transient processes.
- Additionally, you are responsible for conducting analyses regarding the dynamic grid support capabilities of hydraulic systems, up to and including grid studies.
- Evaluating the simulations and creating reports are also part of your responsibilities.
- You develop suitable solution proposals for the system and optimize its settings.
- You take on the further development, optimization, and expansion of the modeling and calculation process.
- Your tasks are rounded off by customer discussions and participation in standardization committees.
Your profile:
- You have a master's degree or a PhD in electrical engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, or a comparable qualification with at least three years of professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering, electrical machines, excitation systems, and control engineering is required for this position.
- You have professional experience in using simulation software for electrical networks and system modeling such as PSS/E, PSCAD, or PowerFactory.
- Deep theoretical knowledge in the application of advanced methods and tools, as well as basic programming skills in Matlab, Python, and Fortran, are required.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics is desirable.
- Your English skills are excellent, both written and spoken, and German skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally occasionally (about 5%) is expected.
- You are accustomed to a systematic and independent way of working to handle complex tasks and develop solution strategies.
