2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf (close to Berlin) the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You'll report to Train Lab Manager and the Test Means Manager and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We'll look for you to :
- Collect the inputs for Test means configurations and analyse their quality

Test means applicable configuration definition

Train LV schematics
-
Train equipment models
-
Traction system model
-
TCMS software and associated deliverables (ICD)
-
Generate the configurations for the Test means
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of tools: LV modeling, equipment modeling, configuration tools

Support test execution (might be 3*8 work)

Compile & sustain the standard documentation for configuration generation

Support deployment and animation of Test means performance KP
Ihr Profil

Bachelor degree or State Certified Engineer (in Automation technology, Mechatronics, or related engineering professions).

Practical knowledge of validation means (Test benches, simulators, etc.)

Practical experience in software integration and validation phases (a minimum of 2 years' experience in the Railway, Health, Defense, Aeronautical, or Automotive domains).

In-depth knowledge of electrical schematics.

In-depth knowledge of electrical commissioning

Skills in mechanical engineering

Skills in 2D/3D technical drawings

Software coding skills.

Model coding skill in C family, ControlBuild, Python, LabView

Fluent in English and local language such as German desirable
