ETC is currently seeking a Production & Warehouse Manager to join our team in our Irschenberg location.

**Representative Responsibilities:
*** Manages shipping/receiving at ETC GmbH

• Coordinates shipping & receiving activities of Warehouse & Supply Chain personnel.
• Ensures customer priorities are met and duties are completed on-time
• Analyzes transportation needs to meet customer's delivery requirements
• Develops procedures for the most effective shipment of goods to meet customer needs
• Coordinates ETC GmbH's compliance with international customs regulations and laws
• Coordinate the finished good and service inventory management
• Manages the vendor/carrier selection process
• Negotiates rate contracts for primary vendors/carriers both inbound and outbound
• Aids in the selection of vendors/carriers
• Establishes routing guidelines for goods, both inbound and outbound
• Analyzes transportation needs to meet customer requirements.
• Monitors performances of vendors/carriers.
• Prepares annual budgets & identifies capital needs for ETC GmbH production & logistics
• Manages the configuration of Rigging and HES equipment based on customer order
• Plans & schedules FDX production based on customer need
• Ensures a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Other tasks as assigned
• Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion
• Works with GM on facility maintenance topics

**Supervisory Responsibilities:
*** Coordinates and collaborates with other departments of the company in establishing and carrying out responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive communication between department and other departments.
• Performs the hiring, orientation, training, performance management, career development, and overall employee development of department personnel.
• Formulates, implements & reviews ISO procedures related to the department
• Instructs employees about procedures and work instructions
• Informs employees as to company/departmental plans and progress
• Maintains reporting on all department activities
• Continue to monitor efficiency in the department and make improvements where appropriate

**Minimum Requirements:
*** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in increasingly responsible positions in inventory control, logistics or other related experience.

• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, logistics, etc.
• Previous supervisory experience advantageous
• Completion of formal Export Manager training through an accredited program preferred
• Knowledge of purchasing principles and practices
• Knowledge of import and export laws
• Knowledge of contracts
• Knowledge of methods used to purchase by specifications and competitive bidding
• Knowledge of basic receiving/accounting and shipping procedures
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills
• Computer skills: SAP, MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluent in German & English (written and spoken)
• Ability to travel frequently between ETC GmbH locations as needed
• Willingness to travel to the US for training etc. as required
