Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

You will be responsible for managing market research projects on a regional and country level in collaboration with the global market research functions and supporting planning efforts as a key member of the EMEA commercial team. You will help drive the commercial insights for the Novocure commercial planning efforts by providing objective and in-depth market/ product information on current and future markets, product performance, customers and competitor insights. The position is responsible for identifying critical business issues, opportunities for product growth and gathering insights that inform the overall business and product strategy.
This position requires experience in market research study design and interpretation, and a demonstrated ability to translate business issues to clearly defined research objectives in the specialty pharma/medical device space. You will help design and execute primary market research studies. You will also conduct secondary research and monitor the competitive landscape to identify potential marketing opportunities and threats.
Your Responsibilities

Effectively employ primary market research and leverage secondary data to provide a holistic analytical viewpoint to the brand teams.

Proactively explore and present innovative market research solutions and approaches.

Work with the region and the countries to develop and executes insights generation plans, supporting local marketing teams in the choice of approach and the selection of vendors.

Execute primary research studies in support of the brand strategy, product promotion, evaluation of new market opportunities and measures of brand performance, at regional level as well as supporting local initiatives

Manage vendors to execute and analyze research results. Deliver presentations with research conclusions and actionable recommendations.

Manage the timely delivery of projects and project budget associated with market research plan

Provide an objective market viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of customer and environmental information to ensure key strategic and tactical business questions are addressed. Provide recommendations on marketing strategies and promotional effectiveness including media plans.

Serve as commercial point for in-line brand competitive and market intelligence. Evaluate the market landscape, monitor changes and predict trends in market dynamics and competition for future planning.

BA/BS required

Minimum of 3 years' experience on a European or EU5 country level in pharmaceutical, medtech, or health care related industry

Minimum of 2 years in health care market research with specific experience in survey design, data analysis (including secondary data), managing vendors, presenting results and recommending courses of action that are supported by research findings.

Brings an inquisitive approach to the marketplace and ability to work with ambiguity and little information. Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.

Familiar with and experience with secondary sources of prescription and medical claims data, such as IQVIA or Symphony Health Systems, as well as with other secondary data sources like Datamonitor and Decision Resources.

Experience working with and interpreting Social Media Listening tools and reports
