• You enable the engineering squads with a scalable and reliable infrastructure to deploy their services. You constantly seek for optimization opportunities on our tech stack and keep up with the latest trends and enhancements in the AWS environment.

• You monitor our applications and ensure the availability of all systems. When incidents arise, you are the first on the line to troubleshoot, communicate and support the fixing process for affected services.

• You optimize the performance of our services by looking at data points collected in our AWS ecosystem. Can queries be optimized? Can caching be made more efficient? Can we route traffic differently? Those are questions you ask yourself on an ongoing basis to strive for performance improvements.

• You keep taps on our security standards and ensure we are protected from attacks.

• Take initiative to improve existing solutions, challenge decisions, propose augmented alternatives and address technical debt.

• Contribute to our roadmap creation process by supporting estimations and impact analysis.

• Don't just code and pick the next task from your team's board, but understand the user pain points and business needs to ensure a high product-market fit.

Ihr Profil

• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in cloud engineering

• Extensive knowledge of the AWS ecosystem

• Extensive knowledge of operating Kubernetes

• Hands-on experience in building and managing microservices in the cloud

• Good understanding of Service Oriented and Microservice Architecture.

• Knowledgeable on SQL and no-SQL databases

• Knowing Argo CD is a big plus
