Manufacturing Engineer

Ihre Aufgaben

• Selection and evaluation of new suppliers, especially in the area of contract manufacturing

• Relocation of manufacturing within the framework of outsourcing and insourcing projects

• Support for make-or-buy decisions

• Optimisation of internal and external manufacturing and assembly processes

• Controlling and further development of suppliers for external production

• Technical clarification with suppliers and the development department

• Support of strategic purchasing in award decisions

Ihr Profil

• Successfully completed computer science degree, technician with relevant focus or comparable training

• Degree in engineering or comparable training (master craftsman/technician)

• Several years of experience in work preparation, industrial engineering, purchasing or similar.

• Sound knowledge in the use of ERP systems, Microsoft Navision knowledge an advantage

• Experienced handling of MS Office, especially Excel

• Ability to work in a team and structured way

• Strong communication skills, quick comprehension and flexibility

• Willingness to travel

• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
