Ihre Aufgaben


This position will manage external engagement and strategic partnerships for the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at Loyola University Chicago. The Baumhart supports established and emerging leaders at the intersection of profit and purpose. Through education, engagement and thought leadership, the Center connects incredible people and great ideas to create thriving communities, in an inclusive economy, on a healthy planet.

The Manager is responsible for: 1) the Center's marketing and outreach efforts and events; 2) the Center's ongoing newsletter, stories, and communications; 3) the Center's ongoing relationships with strategic programmatic partners and corporate sponsors.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Center's director and team to develop the marketing and outreach plan for the Center, including the promotion of the Baumhart Scholars MBA, Leading for DEI, the Innovator Awards, and the Center's ongoing program and events.

  • Oversee ongoing content development for the Center's news stories, newsletter, and social media.

  • Lead the development and execution of the Center's marquee annual gathering, Leading for Good. In partnership with the director and other Baumhart leaders, identify, engage and support incredible speakers, corporate sponsors and community partners at the intersection of profit and purpose. Lead the delivery of an inspirational and engaging event. Build related programming and engagement with partners during the year.

  • Direct the planning, promotion and delivery of the Center's annual Innovator Awards.

  • In partnership with the team, identify and build additional approaches to raise the profile of the Center and deepen impact

  • Supervise the hiring and management of student editorial interns.

  • Experience working in media, journalism, or a related field.

  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience in planning and implementing events and programs.

  • Experience in journalism and an ability to edit and write stories that are clear, concise, and compelling.

  • A deep passion for the Baumhart Center's mission of harnessing the positive power of business to build a better world.

  • A belief in the power of information and reporting to spread ideas that change the world.
