Warehouse Logistics Specialist

With around 70 employees in 13 departments, we ensure progress and development in the dynamic world of e-commerce.

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic and ambitious people who enjoy driving things forward and quickly taking on responsibility. Wonderful!, LIMAL has already been training e-commerce specialists for over 15 years in effect, without the job description officially existing. Previously, this was done as part of the "wholesale and foreign trade merchant".

Since August 2018, we have been providing training as part of the new apprenticeship program for "e-commerce clerks". We provide most of the apprenticeships in Neumünster and are a supporting partner of the local vocational school and the Kiel Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Assemble orders (picking)

• Pack orders and prepare them for shipment (packing)

• Distribute goods receipts to the storage bins

• Loading and unloading truck with a forklift truck

• Basic knowledge in the use of PCs

• Physical resilience, as work is performed exclusively in a standing position,

• During your three-year apprenticeship, you will work in all areas responsible for ensuring that online customers have an all-round positive buying experience.

  Every year we offer the two-year apprenticeship as "warehouse specialist". If you perform well, we offer you the opportunity to extend one year and complete the training to become a "Warehouse Logistics Specialist".

  YOUR TASKS

• You get to know all areas of logistics in a modern e-commerce company

• During your training, you will work in all areas that are responsible for ensuring that online customers have an all-round positive buying experience.

  You get to know:

• Incoming goods: checking accompanying documents, type, quantity and quality of deliveries, recording by EDP, unpacking, sorting and appropriate storage

• Outgoing goods: proper packing, filling out accompanying documents, marking and labeling consignments, assembling delivery units and loading trucks

• Secure goods in compliance with safety regulations, such as the hazardous goods ordinance and customs regulations, if applicable.

• You operate various transport devices and conveyors, e.g. forklifts or automatic sorting systems.

  In short: After training, you will be a mature warehouse specialist with good career prospects at the Neumünster logistics location.,

• After completing the two-year apprenticeship, we offer you an extension of your training as a warehouse logistics specialist.

• We will be happy to take you on as a permanent employee after your training if you perform well. But it can go even further. We support our best people with further qualifications.

Training at LIMAL GmbH

LIMAL has already been de facto training e-commerce specialists for over 15 years, without the job description officially existing. Until now, this was done within the framework of the "Wholesale and Foreign Trade Merchant (m/f/d)". Since August 2018, we have been training within the framework of the new training occupation "e-commerce cl erk (m/f/d)", provide most of the training places in Neumünster and are a supporting partner of the local vocational school and the Kiel Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, with a focus on commerce. Optionally, the vocational qualification "Merchants in E-Commerce (IHK)" can also be obtained.

• Good academic performance in German, mathematics and English

• Confident handling of Microsoft Office programs
