Process engineer

Ihre Aufgaben

• Project engineering, design and simulation of processes and solution concepts

• Technical management of internal R&D and/or standardisation projects

• Preparation of mass and energy balances

• Elaboration of process descriptions and operating manuals

• Process engineering design, specification and selection of safety equipment, instruments and machinery according to international guidelines and regulations

• Generating process flow diagrams

• Proactive coordination with interdisciplinary interfaces

• Provision of technical specifications for the preparation of quotations

• Preparation of technical documentation

• Plant scaling and support in scale-up processes of chemical engineering plants

Ihr Profil

• Scientific or technical degree (process, plant, environmental or chemical engineering or comparable field)

• Work experience of at least 5 years in multidisciplinary projects in the field of plant engineering, preferably in the petrochemical and/or chemical industry

• Experience in project management is advantageous

• An independent and self-reliant way of working as well as a high level of motivation and willingness of performance

• Very good knowledge in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics as well as heat and mass transfer

• Optimally, knowledge of system integration and/or process simulation

• Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken (B2)
