The role
You are fascinated by web technology and familiar with how to best deploy data-science solutions in production, both on-premise and in the cloud. You comfortably work with Databases (Postgres, Rethink), APIs (Django, FastAPI) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)., We provide integrated analytics that assess climate & other sustainability impacts, both physical & transitional, across value chains, and translated into financial risks and opportunities. We aim to build the leading tool for banks to analyze climate and sustainability risks. Our organizational structure is flat and each of the following positions is available as senior and junior role. We prefer full-time permanent team-members who share our long-term objectives but are also open to part-time and freelance engagements.,

You have extensive data exploration and modelling experience in Python, incl. visualization and statistics,

have experience with relational and non-relational databases,

have knowledge of and experience with large-scale Monte-Carlo methods and credit risk models (highly desirable but not essential),

have experience in working with public data sources like OECD, Copernicus and Eurostat (highly desirable but not essential),

are fluent in English and have good command of German (desirable but not essential),

can work self-directed and self-organized within the objectives of your team,

have extensive experience in Python and JavaScript incl. the popular packages,

have knowledge of and experience with the banking IT landscape and regulatory requirements (highly desirable but not essential),

know the strengths an limitations of ESG ratings, and frameworks like the SDGs, TCFD, GRI, IIRC, and SASB,

possess excellent business and technical writing and communication skills in both English and German, and are able to communicate about complex issues in a clear and simple way,
