Internship

Gimv is a European investment company, listed on Euronext Brussels. With 40 years' experience in private equity, Gimv currently has EUR 2 billion of assets under management. Ihre Aufgaben

3 to 4 months (max.) you will work for our 4 platforms (Consumer, Sustainable Cities, Smart Industries or Healthcare) in a multiplatform set-up as the Analyst trainee. As an intern you will support the team over the full investment cycle (from origination to investment, over portfolio management and exit) and will have the ability to:

• Become familiar with industry standard research engines and databases

• Develop your investment and financial analysis skills

• Gain industry insights through close collaboration with our experts

• Develop your soft skills and networking ability through internal and external meetings

• Acquire the necessary technical skills through group and/or individual trainings

Ihr Profil

We offer a unique opportunity to gain work experience in the Private Equity sector. For a period of,

• University degree (last-year BSc or MSc) with excellent results in finance, economics, science or engineering

• Previous internship experience in either M&A, Private Equity / Venture Capital or Strategy Consulting is nice to have but not a must!

• Well-rounded extra-curricular activities via commissions at study/student associations, travelling or sports

• Financially numerate with good Microsoft Office skills and strong analytical skills

• Excellent communications skills, fluency in Dutch and English is required for an internship in our The Hague office

• Demonstrate an obvious interest, experience and understanding of the specific sectors Gimv focuses on and a possess a clear desire to work in private equity/venture capital
