Around the global marketing and deployment of Paessler PRTG, our Business Intelligence team already processes a wide range of different data. To further increase the quality and value of this data and to provide our internal departments with the best possible foundation for data-based decisions, we are looking for you!

You will be a part of our interdisciplinary 9-person BI Scrum team, where your focus will be on extending and maintaining our Data Warehouse as well as developing effective data models and structures to support our BI needs.

YOUR TASKS

• As a Business Intelligence Engineer you will implement and optimize data warehousing solutions to efficiently store and manage large datasets from various sources.
• You collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective data models and structures.
• You design, develop and maintain these data models so that they support the organization's business intelligence and reporting needs.
• You are involved in the further development of our Self-Service BI and Reporting offering which serves as the basis for data driven decision making.
• You utilize your data profiling, cleansing, and transformation skills to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Together with your team colleagues, you implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability as well as ensure the required data availability and quality.

YOUR PROFILE

• Your in-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts, methodologies, and best practices will make an immediate impact.
• You are a proven expert in designing and implementing efficient data models.
• You have advanced SQL skills for querying, manipulating, and managing relational databases
• You are familiar with the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform (SQL Server, Synapse, Purview) and have used BI tools like Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports.
• You are skilled in identifying data quality issues, conducting data profiling, and implementing data cleansing strategies.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Your are able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• You are familiar with working in agile teams and have a high willingness to learn
