Learning Assistants (LAs) for the May School of Arts & Sciences include the following departments: -STEM -Computer Science -Math -Physics -Engineering -Languages, Literatures & Cultures
LAs work closely with faculty and meet with their faculty member regularly to help ensure the success of the students in the class. LAs help students in a variety of ways: attending class to offer in-class support, holding office hours, leading review sessions, reviewing assignments, etc. LAs may work 2 hours per week.
Ihr Profil
Learning Assistants for the May School of Arts & Sciences must have successfully completed the course in which they are assisting and have a strong command of the subject area as well as strong interpersonal skills. The student's overall GPA must be 3.0 or higher, unless an exception has been made by the faculty member.
