Foreign Trade Analyst

Ihre Aufgaben

As a Foreign Trade Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting supply chain management in the management of overseas shipments, following processes to ensure the best cost and schedule. You will also need to liaise with freight forwarders and partners to ensure proper information and control of shipments.

Responsibilities

*You will be responsible for handling overseas shipments (including outside the Schengen zone) in support of all plants in Belgium, taking into account all modalities (air, sea, road, rail, etc...). *You follow up with freight forwarders and partners to ensure the delivery date expected by internal customers. *You support the customs process by providing information and documents when necessary. *You monitor transport costs in Belgium and support the feeding of KPIs and weekly reporting. *You suggest and lead internal projects to identify potential cost savings and support ongoing projects for this purpose to create synergies between plants focusing on costs. *You provide the procurement team with forecast data to support the negotiation of BIDs and transportation tenders. *You will report monthly cost of freight transported to the main transport office.

Ihr Profil

• You have higher degree in business management, supply chain, engineering, combined with a first relevant experience as a foreign trade analyst

• You have experience in the transportation management for overseas shipments

• You have experience with EU customs process regulations

• You can speak good English

• You are by nature customer oriented

• You have a good knowledge of the MS Office software tools and ideally have experience with SAP

• It's a big plus if you have experience in the automotive market
