SUAS RESPONSABILIDADES E TAREFAS

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. The role involves managing a team of warehouse staff, implementing efficient processes, and maintaining a safe working environment. The Warehouse Manager will also collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure the seamless flow of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations Management
• Plan, organize, and supervise the overall activities within the warehouse to meet operational goals and targets.
• Ensure efficient utilization of space, equipment, and manpower to optimize productivity and minimize costs.
• Implement and improve warehouse procedures, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

Team Management:

• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to perform at their best and ensure a cohesive working environment.
• Schedule and allocate work tasks among the team members, ensuring timely completion of activities.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching, and training to enhance the team's performance.

Health and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Provide proper training on safety procedures and the handling of hazardous materials.
• Logistics and Transportation:
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
• Collaborate with transportation providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.

Quality Control:

• Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and integrity of warehouse inventory.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to inventory or order fulfillment.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse-related activities.
• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and identify areas for improvement.

SEU PERFIL

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent experience in Warehouse Management).
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Payrate: $65K-85K based on experience
