Due to the ambitious growth of the organization, we wish to strengthen the team in Evergem and Ghent with an Automation Technician.

Ihre Aufgaben

As an automation technician, you will be able to analyze the instrumentation and control processes, recommend and make some changes necessary to optimize or adapt the production process.

You will work 40 hours in 2 shifts or the night shift.

Responsibilities

• You are able to analyze and propose alternatives to modify or expand the instrumentation and control system needed for production optimization.

• You are able to identify the list of tasks required in instrumentation and control for production optimization. Including identification of resources that will be required for their implementation.

• You are able to implement programming logic and required equipment changes.

• You must oversee the correct use of the resources under your care, seeking to maximize their efficiency, care and life span.

• You will perform work in accordance with company policies, guidelines, legal orders, regulations and procedures.

• You can ensure the application of Safety and Environmental Care controls necessary for the performance of tasks.

• You manage resources for the execution of tasks (materials, equipment, services, inputs).

• You speak directly with the supplier to find a solution to problems.

• You oversee the correct classification of waste generated in the work performed under their responsibility.

• You oversee the correct execution of contractors' work and in accordance with AGP procedures.

• You are able to work out the technical bases of services required for the execution of instrumentation and control services.

• You are able to perform the backups of PLCs programs, Robot programs and HMI files.

Ihr Profil

• You have +3 years of experience in production/maintenance related positions. Of these, 2 years in the automation department with improvements and focus on machine efficiency.

• You have advanced skills in PLC.

• You have advanced skills in robots (Kuka, ABB).

• You have good skills in electricity, medium voltage, high voltage.

• You understand electrical drawings and P&ID diagrams.

• You speak good English and the knowledge of Dutch is big PLUS..

• You can use MS Office and SharePoint.
