Financial Governance Coordinator

We are now looking for a Financial Governance Coordinator that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission., Our vision is to make football truly global, diverse and inclusive, for the benefit of the entire world. The last FIFA World Cup in Qatar in 2022 attracted more then 5 billion viewers and the last FIFA Women's World Cup in France in 2019 one billion viewers. The opportunities for growth are exciting.

Ihre Aufgaben

• In charge of dedicated FIFA Member Associations for all Financial Management & Financial Governance related matters

• Support on the annual central audit process (as per FIFA FORWARD regulations)

• Review of the audit reports and analysis provided by independent audit providers. Drafting and monitoring of tailor-made action plans for the Member Associations

• Preparing summary reports for FIFA's (Governance) Audit and Compliance Committee

• Analysis of the financial audit reports, financial statements, identification of outcomes, possible non-compliance and identification of possible risks for the Member Associations and FIFA

• Missions on the field in the frame of capacity building (tailor-made support)

• Participation in tailor-made workshops for Member Associations

• Evaluation of FORWARD projects submitted by Member Associations and release of funds These tasks are a good start. Time will change. Take it and shape it.

• Ability to interact with different levels Bachelors degree or similar higher education in Finance/Audit/Accounting or Economics

• General awareness of International Football economy and business

• Capacity to provide analytical and financial analysis and reporting (Financial report analysis including Balance sheet, Lost and profit account, etc.)

• Data analytics experience an advantage

• Excellent written and oral skills in French (preferably mother tongue)

• 3-5 years of experience in audit or accounting/finance

• Proficiency in English and any other FIFA language (GER/ES) is an asset

• Proficiency in Word/ Excel/ Powerpoint

• Good knowledge in SAP is an advantage

• Willingness to travel once a month
