The Regional Technical Sales Manager is responsible for developing new and existing customers within the assigned market area of the Midwest USA (West & East North Central & Northeast). This includes gathering business information, developing commercial tactical plans with the sales manager and the branch manager, and executing these plans in order to generate benefit and added value for the company.
The person in this position, dedicated to the field, is responsible for finding, developing and closing qualified leads in the plastics and metal forming industries, identifying new business opportunities, managing new business relationships and distributors/agents, and developing submarkets for new product/market combinations.,

Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through proactive communication and regular visits to discuss commercial opportunities;

Identify, investigate, and follow up on qualified leads and develop business for potential customers in key market segments (automotive, medical & white goods);

Plan and execute regular visits with current and potential customers and effectively identify and communicate customer needs and demands to management;

Identify, select, and manage the market channels (agents, reps, distributors, …) in accordance with the company strategy.

Act as a key contact point for customers and educate them on products, applications, and trends;

Develop and maintain effective working relationships with other internal departments;

Attend trade shows;

Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Ihr Profil

Bachelor's Degree.;

Minimum 5 years of related commercial experience in the plastics or metal forming industry with proven results;

Must be willing and able to travel up to 70% (mostly in the Midwest and Northeast of the USA).

Fluent in speaking and writing in English;

In possession of a valid driving license and a car.,
