Ihre Aufgaben
Researcher III participates independently in advanced academic research and development, initiates and coordinates research projects in cooperation with a research team and internationally, publishes in accordance with the requirements and standards of the University of Ostrava, applies for research funding (submitting grants, searching for opportunities for contractual cooperation on research), and supervises junior researchers. Researcher III can participate in teaching in the BA and MA programs and as a supervisor of doctoral students.,

The first round of the selection procedure will involve the assessment of the materials sent by applicants. Ihr Profil

at least 5 years of research experience after PhD; EU research level R3 - established / R4 - Leading (research group);
-
PhD or equivalent in philosophy and/or history and/or sociology, publication activities in the above field/fields (at least 8 publications indexed in the Web of Science and/or SCOPUS databases and/or 2 monographs);

H-index (WoS or Scopus) of at least 2 or Scholar 4 or at least 35 citations;
-
experience in participation in grant projects and/or international research stay of a total duration of 3 months;
-
Experience working in research groups;
-
Fluent English, comparable to Level B2 of the Common European Framework rReference for Languages, knowledge of other languages an advantage;
-
independent, responsible and creative approach to work.

Ability to collaborate on social, historical or philosophical aspects of energy transition with partner universities would be an advantage;

Research experience and future projects plans in at least one of the following subjects:
-
Interdisciplinary environmental-, technological-, economic-, and social history of Central or/and Eastern Europe since 1800;

Philosophy of historiography or philosophy of historical sciences;

Transformation of the labour market since 1989 with focus on the coal mining industry (qualitative research), Changing identities of the regional workforce following modernization and transformation processes (quantitative approach).
