The German International School Doha was founded in 2008 as a German public school. Ihre Aufgaben

Our all-day school is divided into Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary I and Secondary II. Special emphasis is placed on the encounter of cultures, the multilingualism of the students and their individual support. Apart from the IB subjects Mathematics, Chemistry, CAS, ToK and English lessons are taught in German and from Years 1 to 10 according to the quota of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Free State of Thuringia.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Planning and implementation of Mathematics /Physics /Chemistry /Biology lessons in the Secondary School and in the IB Diploma Programme, in all grade levels possible

• Participation in conferences and school life

• Conducting parent teacher meetings

Ihr Profil

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Biology

• teaching qualification would be an advantage

• minimum 2 years of teaching experience

• very good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written as the language of instruction in the IB is mainly English

• teaching experience in IB

• knowledge of German is an advantage

• intercultural competences

• ability to work in a team and willingness to cooperate

• sense of responsibility, ability to cope with stress

• willingness to develop and implement current pedagogical concepts

• willingness to lead classes

• very good IT knowledge required

• experience in conduction digital teaching sessions

• motivation for further training
