We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join a premier team of Support Staff at the 100 Operations Support Squadron, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, United Kingdom. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Commander's Support Assistant, performing various administrative duties for the organization's administrative programs to include, but not limited to: task management, Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Drug Demand Reduction Program (DDRP), health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian timecard program, etc. You will track and manage a flow of personnel items (e.g. awards), and liaise with Mission Support Group and Military Personnel Flight on personnel issues. You will become an expert on all mandated administrative support programs and be an organizational point of contact.

Hours of work: Start & end times may be modified due to mission needs and in accordance with organization's flexible working policies.

Will be required to handle and safeguard sensitive information in accordance with applicable US and UK laws, rules, and regulations.

Must obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance.

May be required to travel by military and/or civilian aircraft in the performance of official duties or to attend necessary training. Position may be coded as mission essential.

A 6-month probationary period will be required.

Work may occasionally require travel via military or commercial aircraft away from normal duty station for training or other temporary duty assignment.
