GSBTB is looking for someone to support a 10-year-old Syrian boy from the Open Hearts Space community with his German and math homework. We expect the volunteer to commit for at least six months and meet the boy weekly for a minimum of 3 hours. These meetings can include other activities such as creative exercises, eating together, and walking in the neighborhood (Wedding). Open Hearts Space builds safe, stable, and long-term connections between people. From our side, we offer preparation, regular support, monthly group meetings, and wide open arms to welcome you to be part of our vivid and supportive community. Competent German speaker volunteers wanted! Help migrants and refugees build German language skills in a friendly environment. Give Something Back to Berlin is looking for German-speaking volunteers to join the Sprachcafé and help lead conversations in German. It's a warm and friendly environment that helps people practice their German at any level and learn about different cultures. The Sprachcafé runs every Wednesday from 17:30 to 19:30 at Refugio Café, Lenaustrasse 4. 12047 Berlin. If you are interested in volunteering, get in touch with Ricarda through ricarda.bochat@gsbtb.org If you are learning German and want to practice your speaking skills, just come to the above address when you have a free Wednesday night. Do you have a passion for making a positive impact? Are you interested in communications and PR? GSBTB is seeking a volunteer to join our communications team and play a vital role in supporting some of the PR activities for our new cookbook project. How can you help? -Assist in the development of PR plans and strategies for the cookbook campaign. - Help tailor content development and related editorial content. - Assist in customizing media lists, searching for contact details, and updating contacts. - Aid in researching potential events, spokesperson opportunities, and other promotional platforms. - Support in co-planning/organizing cookbook-related events.

Ihr Profil

You are ready to commit to volunteering at least 5 hours per week until the end of January. - You have a genuine interest in the vision and mission of our organization. - You are fluent in English (knowledge of German is a plus). - You possess good writing skills and an interest in content creation. - You are a team player eager to make a positive impact by working together.
